Department of landscaping – Old Park in Mažeikiai

The Old Town Park, as a cultural object, actively participates in the cultural life of the city. Its recreational function includes all forms of leisure: from quiet walks, family celebrations, cultural events to active sports and city events. The park serves as a city gallery. The layout of artistic objects is planned in the whole territory of the park: monumental and kinetic sculptures, installation objects. The regular arrangement of spatial plastic objects softens the boundaries between material and idealistic urban culture.
